Junior Galette Gets Cut

I’m surprised it took this long, Junior’s resume of being a dirtbag was growing. He’s a promising player, I’m sure this was a tough call for the Saints, but they made the morally correct choice. Whether they shall indeed regret the move as much as Galette has proclaimed remains to be seen. He’ll probably get picked up by someone because he’s good enough and the NFL is usually morally bankrupt if your good at the footballs. Plus, despite his comment, maybe this is the kind of thing that Junior needs to kick him into being less of a dirtbag.
Cancer is camouflage.
Camouflage is cancer.
Fixed it
Cancer, camouflage is.
Broken it again, I have.
As much as my Saints need him on defense, I was growing tired of the headaches he brought to the team. We’ll regret not having him on the field I’m sure. But it’s worth it for having the right kind of people on the team.
Yay Sean Payton is back. If only he was still suspended. At least after this season (my guess is 5-11 or 6-10 for New Orleans) he’ll be looking for a new job so Hobo Payton can return.
If what Galett says is true and Payton is controlling all the moves then is this could really could be a make or break season for him.
But i can only assume that the ownership is behind this shift to deprioritize Brees from the offense. Which means he could be there no matter what. Its clear Brees cant do it all anymore and the real move needs to be firing that hack, Rob Ryan. He might be the worst DC in the league.
Rob Ryan has this weird thing going where he has a good defence one season and a terrible one the next.
Thats petty much the Ryan family legacy, awful inconsistency and toxic locker rooms
I’m willing to bet it’ll take two more losing seasons to heat up Payton’s seat. The man’s value was made clear when he was suspended for a year and the team went 7-9. The Saints need to rebuild and he knows it – hence selling off talented young players like Graham – but Brees and his gigantic cap hit prevent them from being able to finance rebuilding(On that note, if he continues to decline, don’t be surprised if Brees gets cut after this season. He’s declining, he’s old, and cutting him after this year will free up around $20 million.)
Benson’s smart enough to know this, and to know that firing a genius coach in the middle of a rebuilding period is a terrible idea.
If Galett really was a locker room cancer, its smart to remove him, but he’s going to cost over $5M this year and over $12M next year. They signed him to a 4 year $44M deal last year. This is a team that’s already dealing with cap problems, especially with Brees sucking the money out of the franchise.
“You’re* good at the footballs”
Someone’s gotta be that guy
+1, beat me to it
Nick Foles, M.D.
Where is my farts I cant find it
Im suprised he got picked up so quickly especially after that twitter tirade he went on.
