Dave isn’t done moving

Posting this from lunch at work: Still don’t have internet at home. Computer isn’t even hooked up yet. This is the first time I’ve ever had to move like an adult instead of just throwing the important stuff in the back of my Honda and cruisin along to my next stop. Been at the old spot 6 years and got married and shit, so I actually wanted to keep the furniture and had to move lots of other crap. I’m not even close to getting any comic work done. I think I’ll need this week off. If I get settled by week’s end, I might go back and color that old Jags comic that was unfinished.
I would set up modem, router, PC and any other technology involved things first. Get that out of the way so you have something to use while in down time
Not just down time. Having the tech set up ensures you’ve got music and maybe some TV to go along with all the labor.
But of course, when moving, one must never forget the statue of Eli with his goofy face and rocket pop.
That’s like, the most important thing one should have in the household.
That’s my favorite part of the comic.
wait what Dave works I thought drawing comics was his job
Yeah no way his patreon gives him enough money to support the basic human needs
It was for a little while
It does not pay well, needed something more reliable
Take your time moving
Nice
You know Jeff Fisher is available and has experience with moving.
*Like*
Living among the boxes for the first few days (who am I kidding, I mean weeks) is no fun at all. You’ll be sorted in no time!
Hey, I’m moving this weekend! Although it’ll be my first time NOT moving like an adult… throwing everything that’ll fit into my Corolla and driving across the country. Headed for Ravens territory. *gags a little*
Get ready for crab cakes on everything
And the constant babble rabble of our ravens fans praising Ray Lewis as a folk hero who carried every single defense on his shoulders while helping him shove the bodies in the trunk of his once white but now really red limousine.
Also enjoy Royal Farms if that’s near you.
As someone who lived in 7 different places the first 8 years of marriage, I do not envy you and hope this is the last time for a while. Good luck, and don’t rush yourself.
Good luck with the move, Dave.
The last time I moved was about 9 years ago, and I’m still unpacking the boxes.
Best of luck.
I bless your new home!
What’s your thought on Lane Johnson and Cheerios?
Anyone think that the Browns are setup to actually pull off Draft Day and Rosen will be the quarterback they discover that no one showed up to his Birthday party. Because you know having high # people at your birthday party translates to success in the NFL.
The problem wasn’t that his birthday party had no people, it was that he had no teammates at his party. That and they made sure he looked like the biggest scumbag throughout the film so you felt even better to see Cleveland not draft him
