The Russell Wilson Moonball
Russell Wilson threw a perfect moonball against the Jets and for a brief second, I was happy. I know it’s too much to ask to be happy with that all year, but if I can see that a couple times a game, it’ll feel so nice after 6 years of Daniel Fucking Jones. I miss deep balls. I want to see the deepest balls. Please god all I ask this season is the team is watchable. They don’t have to be good. They don’t have to win. I just want to be entertained watching Giants football again. Is that too much to ask? A team that makes games interesting? A team that dangles enough hope to keep me looking at the screen? I’ll take the tease of a bad stripper who will never love me over being wasted in the parking lot as the rain pours down upon me.
Goddamn Dave, this is your best “Tiny Russ Wilson” yet. I’m losing my shit
Too big again.
Do you remember the cartoon Fangface? That’s who you’re gonna be, dude.
I saw the highlight of that moon ball, and thought “he’s still got it”. I’m gonna be stupid and draft him in fantasy or something.
Another good thing is that Russ is very use to having a terrible Oline. Unfortunately he can’t scramble like he used to so hopefully Thomas has another great year, and plays all 17 games, so that he has a little time and not setting sack records like Jones.
Step 1 into making Dave draw furry art complete
Guys, I’m worried about Dave
Terribly sorry, but since it’s the Giants I am contractually obligated to root for every moonball to wind up a Fail Mary. I’m sure you understand.
That would be good for the Giants though. The Fail Mary was good for the team Russell Wilson was on, not the opposite.
I was actually thinking of a stupid pass Favre threw, but it seems my memory is faulty because I thought it was the game loser to the Giants and his last throw as a Packer, but that one was only like 20 yards. I didn’t even realize Fail Mary was used as the name for a specific play till you said so and I’m especially angry at it being used for the fill in refs’ failure.
Jeff Blake, 1994. Been there, too.
If we’re lucky, maybe Dexter Lawrence will have the same career trajectory as Strahan where the Giants wins their next SB in his final season.
If the Giants somehow keeps the trend starting in 1986 of having one title per decade alive, that’ll be worthy of a meme. Granted how many saw the last two coming?
Huh. Didn’t even realize Russ ended up on the Giants lmao.
If it’s like 2024 Russ, you’ll get your hopes up playing bad defenses, lose against good defenses, miss 6 games due to injury, and finish on a losing streak.
Aww, the poor Jets fan!
This is basically the plot of “The Quarry”.
