Why Can’t We Film Lamar Jackson Throwing? Oh Right

Tucked away in a small Twitter reply last week was this gem about the Ravens:

Now I’m on record as a Lamar Jackson supporter and defender, and there are all sorts of reasons why the Ravens might have restricted access like this…but it’s kind of a bad look when a guy who’s biggest criticism is his passing being shielded from the media specifically. LET THE JOKES FLY
This can only mean the Ravens are hard at work implementing a new offense akin to the Army Black Knights of college football: try to win without even attempting a pass. Bold move, Harbaugh. Bold move.
That, or their offense is shifting to some kind of 100% gadget play monstrosity, and they don’t want anybody to know. XD I’d legitimately like to see some team try either of those approaches. The 9ers came close when they only let Jimmy throw the ball 8 times in that win against Green Bay.
Less ‘only let’ and more ‘only needed to’
Well the media is only banned from FILMING right? So presumably if they were trying anything remotely different, gadgety, whatever… we’d already know about it?

There are never enough comics about my Ravens on here for my taste, and I love this one! I kind of want to use that bottom left panel for my next fantasy football team logo.
That sounds awesome. Lamar’s superhuman contortions as he really flaps that duck even cuts a nice circular figure.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Lamar and think he’s got all the talent in the world, and that it’s being overblown.
But I’m also a Browns fan, so I’m just loving it.
