No Happy Ending For Robert Kraft
One thing we can all agree on is that Robert Kraft sucks, and it’s cool that he’s unhappy.
He’s had an eventful couple of weeks. Firstly, he appears to be named in the Epstein files release, as part of the (much worse) Tisch leak. It’s a minor mention, but I think nobody is surprised that Kraft is okay with Minor issues. We don’t really have much to go on here, so I won’t dwell on it. But yeah, he’s probably a gross old pedo, just like all these creeps. We knew that already.
Then, after the Belichick HoF snub that got everyone mad, Kraft didn’t get in either. Many people assumed that he might have had something to do with it, being as he was up for induction at the same time and may have tried to pull strings to snub Belichick. I don’t know if that’s true. But if it is, it didn’t work. Kraft was also denied the hall of fame, and to that I say…good. Fuck Kraft. He doesn’t belong in the hall. No real modern day owners do. They are just CEOs pampering their assets. Early owners helped define and change the league, modern owners are just squatting on assets. Jerry Jones has a better case for the hall than Kraft.
Although, the bad blood between Kraft and Belichick is definitely real. His girlfriend Jordon wore a T-Shirt referencing the prostitution scandal ahead of the Super Bowl. Honestly? Top tier trolling. Belichick is a gross old man but Kraft is 100% worse. Point to team Belichick.
Then of course we get the actual Super Bowl. The hopeful happy ending to the season for New England. Surely winning the game would ease the pain of the HoF snub. WHELP!
The Patriots got outclassed. The hype for the season went up in smoke as the team finally got exposed for the level of competitor it actually was. Outside one extremely brief moment in the 4th quarter when the Pats showed a sliver of life, they got stomped by a superior opponent. Now they will have to face questions all offseason and suffer the wrath of hardcore dunks by haters like me. Also, the Super Bowl hangover is real. I look forward to that.
Tomorrow will be the Chaos Award Nominations post, and Thursday and Friday will both be comics!

The only person associated with the Patriots I am more than “meh” about is Vrabel. Seeing them lose in a beatdown is nice but that fanbase needs more losing. I have never rooted so hard for a Superbowl hangover than I will this coming season.
It sucks getting used to losing but some fanbases deserve far more misery than they get. I realized yesterday when my work pick-em fantasy league ended that I had stopped playing it when the playoffs started. Then I realized I’m a Falcons fan and that’s kinda what we do.
Sorry about James Pearce Jr.
I’m being sincere just so you know.
Before Brady/Belichick, the whole history of the Patriots was extended periods of “who cares” interspersed with isolated seasons where they would suddenly reverse years of mediocrity, make a run to the Super Bowl, get stomped by a clearly superior NFC team, and immediately backslide. I’m looking forward to keeping tradition alive.
This Superbowl reminded me a little of the ’85 Bears win. I would be fine with the Patriots returning to and maintaining their pre-Belichick form.
Worst part is that it wasn’t even Brian Epstein.
So any ideas for James Pearce Jr.?

This feels like a Chappelle Show skit about when keeping it real goes wrong.
And even that 4th quarter sliver of life was in garbage time where the seahawks barely looked like they were clocking in to each play.
Say what you want about Belichick, at least his gf is over 20. The fact Kraft not only made a call to get the Falcons to not hire him but may have also prevented his HOF nomination is a slap in the face to a guy that made NE an actual competent team.
Plus also note that it was Kraft who gave Bledsoe a 10 year contract while Belichick was looking to replace the guy with Tom Brady if things doesn’t work out in 2001. Bill ends up turning out to be right faster than intended thanks to Mo Lewis.
Fuck Robert Kraft.
That is all.
This is the way. We should all get in line with rusty steel wool and give Robert Kraft aaaaaall the happy endings he can handle.
As a more probable than not Pats fan, the highlight of the Super Bowl was Green Day’s pre-game performance.
I have no idea how they got ‘American Idiot’ approved for the set list. This is like getting Bruce Springsteen to sing ‘Born in the USA’ during one the Gulf Wars.
And Collinsworth’s announcer jinx, exclaiming how Maye and offense was finally finding some rhythm… right as Maye throws an interception.
They didn’t actually play any parts of songs with specific political messages in them. Like they just completely skipped the part where they usually say maga agenda. Probably the most tame Green Day performance in a long time and a long way from their very pointed performance last friday
Paul Allen was in the Epstein files, too, man.
The percentage of NFL owners in the Epstein files is better than the Giants’ winning percentage in the last decade.
