The Aaron Rodgers Hate Post
On Monday night we witnessed possibly, probably, hopefully, the final game of Aaron Rodgers. He has not made any official announcement yet, and quite possibly won’t for some time, depending on how the offseason goes. But the vibes and the rumors seem to indicate that this was it.
Should he do so, prepare for media fluff. Rodgers is a weird guy with a storied career and Hall of Fame legacy. No matter your feelings on the man, he’s a complicated person just like all of us and you can’t sum him up easily. There is a lot to unpack about one of the most polarizing, elite, innovative Quarterbacks of all time. A lot can and will be written about Rodgers. But even the posts that are the most critical of the man will be measured and polite. I am here to be none of that.
This is a hater post. Rodgers apologists vacate now.
Aaron Rodgers is annoying and stupid and has a dumb face. He looks like he perpetually smells like BO mixed with faint small woodland animal urine. Rodgers looks like he showers once a week explicitly because his teammates held an intervention to make him do so.
I don’t know if a more annoying player has existed. Worse people, sure, but more annoying? It’s rare to have a player so irritating that pretty much the entire fandom of a sport finds you insufferable. My most liked tweet of all time (for a while at least, barring one freak viral moment) was a cartoon mocking Rodgers. My most liked skeet on Bluesky is a cartoon mocking Rodgers. The people show up to dunk on this man whenever anything bad happens to him. Nothing brings the world together like watching Aaron Rodgers eat shit. And this is a man who would probably literally eat shit as part of a “health” diet.
He’s such a hypocritical little troll weasel. Nobody in the league would cry more foul about the media and how they twist things and act shitty whilst making every effort he could to be the center of attention within said media. He is the millionaire football player with massive cultural clout and celebrity who was constantly going on podcasts and shows hosted by his industry buddies to cry about how cancelled and silenced he is. He’s up there whining about being “on the right side of history” about a fucking vaccine that he specifically tried to hide his status on. Remember that? Rodgers wasn’t an outspoken anti-vaxxer until his ass got caught.
The slimy little ghee enema enjoyer tried to hide it. Multiple players like Cole Beasley were outspoken from the get go. Rodgers hid his status with careful wording. He knew exactly what shit he was pulling with the “immunized” statement. He was trying to trick the press so nobody would get mad at him because he’s a little bitch boy with a fragile ego who wants attention but only good attention. Then he cried like a baby about how people got mad at him for it. Brother take your damn medicine. Real medicine, not the fungal spores you wipe on your taint in complete darkness to release your chakras.
Rodgers acts like he got cancelled for that shit but if anything he got boosted. While the average person turned on him, a certain subset embraced him and now he’s legitimately a threat to be a politician like his literal brainwormed comrade in essential oils RKF Jr.
He spent most of his career getting embarrassed in the playoffs, then pulled the same shit Favre did with the will he/wont he retirement bullshit. It was enough to turn the city he brought a title to against him. Then he went to the fucking JETS and played baby’s first GM and demanded all of his loyal stooges go with him and it blew up in his face. Now he disses the Jets at every opportunity like he wasn’t the problem. Buddy, do you know how hard it is to come out of a fight with the New York Jets as the less sympathetic party? That shouldn’t be possible! This motherfucker got Mike Tomlin to give up after one year.
I don’t know if his wife is a real person or a ChatGPT anime girl. Rodgers looks like the kinda guy who would drive a cybertruck on a gravel road once to try and claim he is a rugged man of the woods. Rodgers looks like he makes his own beard oil out of the secretions of a porcupine’s anal sweat glands. Those State Farm commercials instantly improved the second they replaced Rodgers with Mahomes, a man with actual charisma. Every state farm ad he ever did was hard carried by everyone else in the commercial.
Rodgers looks like he read Atlas Shrugged once and it “changed his life”. Rodgers probably thinks of himself as a “Body Language Expert”. Rodgers looks like he’d corner you at a party so he could tell you his thoughts about what Dinosaurs really are. Rodgers looks like the kinda guy who took an unlicensed IQ test online once and got a good number and brags about it. Rodgers looks like he knows his astrological sign and his Myers-Briggs classification and judges you on how the two of you are “not compatible”. Rodgers looks like a guy who would say you are poisoning yourself if you drink a soda as he mixes bat guano into his morning smoothie because it helps his blood ph.
I don’t know if Rodgers is going to retire but I can guarantee you he’s going to make it a whole fucking thing so that we all have to hear about his decision-making process. He’s not going to go quietly into his next phase of life, he’s going to drag us kicking and screaming into it with him.
Please, commenters, join me. This is an Aaron Rodgers anti-safe space. Give it to him.

I think the silver lining of Tomlin stepping away is that it’s less likely that Rodgers comes back.
So you’re saying this cartoon was inspired by Rodgers?

Aaronj Rodgers thinks every game he’s ever lost was stolen from him by a conspiracy between the refs, the league, and his own teammates. Listening to him bitch after the NFCCG against the Seahawks was *chef’s kiss*, he totally thought he’d been cheated out of his rightful victory somehow, they should have just let him win because he was ahead, it’s not fair that they let the Seahawks keep scoring, STOP THE COUNT!
What a bitch baby.
Not to insinuate, but I’m starting to think you don’t really care for Aaron Rodgers very much
As a long-time bears fan (2006 when I was a kid was the first year I paid attention to the bears and the NFL in general. It’s mostly been a downhill ride) I was a rodgers hater from the very beginning. When facing the smallest roadblock, he would complain and pout. When he would lose, he would throw others under the bus, but since he mostly won, the media loved him and hyped him up. Meanwhile, Cutler wouldn’t throw anyone under the bus when the bears struggled, yet he was constantly crucified over the smallest things. I’m sorry he doesn’t have the best body language and looks frustrated sometimes, my man has diabetes and probably just has his blood sugar a little off right now. Where was I? Oh right, hating on rodgers. Anyway, when all of the anti vax stuff came out in 2020 and such and even more people started hating him, I felt extremely vindicated. Oh also all the jokes about Rodgers family not talking to him were very funny.
Let’s enjoy these final moments of Aaron Rodgers the player before he becomes Aaron Rodgers the public outreach representative of HHS.
Rodgers’s teammates all have nothing but positive things to say about him. Honestly the eye test tells me he is right up there with Brady, Manning and Mahomes in skill and abilities. He had some bad luck with defenses and special teams collapsing and not the best coaching staffs.
Generally I can separate the person from their art so his weird habits off the field I found to be just odd and amusing. It never bothered me tbh. He wasn’t doing things like Kareem Hunt or Ray Rice so whatever. Bad commercials and Star QBs go together.
The “looks like” paragraph is really funny though. I could see Rodgers doing any of those things.
Rodgers is significantly worse than Brady, Manning, and Mahomes in one critical area, and that’s his mental fortitude. The dude gets visibly frustrated and in his head in the playoffs. Unlike the other guys when he gets frustrated it negatively impacts his play. When Brady/Manning got frustrated, they played better. Mahomes seems more like Rodgers in that he plays worse frustrated, but he’s way more chill to start with so it takes longer to get him to that point. He’s never been able to just take what a defense gives him, and instead he plays hero ball and chases big plays. It just isn’t a sustainable way to play the game, and it cost his team in the playoffs constantly.
In regards to his teammates I’ve seen the same thing. People who know him seem to like him. He’s probably a nice person to know. It’s interesting to see how much people enjoy hating him for being anti-vax. A football player saying stupid things about medicine on podcasts just never really riled me up, I just didn’t listen to anything he had to say that isn’t football related and never listened to any podcast episodes he was on.
I think we need to add a little bit of a caveat there. *SOME* of his teammates have nice things to say about them. *SOME* have had far less-complimentary things to say about him. His family disowned him, all of his breakups have been ugly. Let’s not pretend this is some sort of universally beloved guy that fans only started hating because of his vaccine status.
I think Matt Lombardo put it best:
“The guy’s selfish. Teammates don’t like him. Coaches don’t like him. It’s all about Aaron. They all deal with him, because he’s a superstar. He helps guys make money and put food on the table for their kids, and people respect him for that.”
I can respect separating the person from their art, but it’s a bit hard for me, in this case, because so much of the annoying image-obsessed jackass he is as a person is DIRECTLY connected to how he played on the field.
He’s always spinning the narrative, OBESSED with how he’s viewed by the media, but then pretending he’s just trolling when people call him out on the bullshit. On the field, that translates to always going for safe throws, safe yards, things that add up ON PAPER to a great player. But when you look behind the numbers, you get a player who rarely stood up in big moments BECAUSE he was afraid of throwing a pick, being blamed for losing the game, so that he can then throw his WR under the bus and pin it on them. It’s the kind of complete cowardice that lands you with an 11-11 playoff record despite being oft cited as “the greatest thrower of the football”.
Anywho, f@#% Aaron Rodgers.
And the thing is, his parents are massive trump supporters who supported qanon. They are also conspiracy theorists, though Rodgers seems to be an actual libertarian and doesn’t like trump. Maybe they disowned him because he’s an ass, or it could just be because he doesn’t like trump.
Uhhhhh, what? His family and he were having issues and were estranged when he was dating Munn… somewhere in the ’14-’15 range. Trump would have nothing to do with that, and even if it did, Rodgers has publicly stated support for Trump and his ideas multiple times. His only real criticism I can find is that Trump didn’t go far ENOUGH down the crazy batshit lane.
I think I’ll concede on the whole Trump thing for a reason his parents broke away, but I still don’t think he’s a trump guy. He’s just a dumb libertarian. I think he attacked trump for being anti abortion… of course, maybe that changed, who knows.
Yeah I recall that too, plus there was a time Aaron Rodgers was accused of being woke so I don’t think he was on either side seeing how much he tends to flip flops. Really adds to what the guy below said, Schrodinger’s asshole.
> He’s always spinning the narrative, OBESSED with how he’s viewed by the media, but then pretending he’s just trolling when people call him out on the bullshit.
He’s Schroedinger’s asshole in that regard. Whenever it gets a positive or neutral response, he rolls with it, but if it gets a negative one, then he’s “just trolling”. He’s a hooting dickhole and a hypocrite.
There’s still one thing you can appreciate regardless of how you feel about him.
He kept Flozell Adams from getting a ring.
I agree, Bennie. I don’t love Rodgers either but today’s comic/post just seems a little obsessive, honestly.
I will give Rodgers some grace in that he made sure to be a good mentor to Jordan Love so he didn’t go full Favre.
To my knowledge, he’s not yet defrauded a state government yet either. But I give that one time.
You never know. He might defraud the federal government instead!
My brother always said 2 things about Aaron Rodgers: A) he’s a loser, and B) he’s not a winner. And there’s a difference. This sentiment was never exemplified more than week 17 this year. The fact that he had a 54% completion for 168 yards and no touchdowns against a 3-12 team in a win-and-in game is an example of him not being a winner. The fact that, allegedly, he was deliberately playing conservatively because he didn’t want to be Garrett’s record-breaking sack is an example of him being a loser.
His numbers and his talent were always unquestionable. He’s one of the best quarterbacks ever to play the game. But he’s not one of the _greatest_. Being great is about more than being good. It’s about success against the odds. It’s about winning when you shouldn’t win. It’s about putting your team on your back and carrying them to the promised land. These are things that Brady. Montana, and Mahomes have in spades. They won in spite of the odds. Rodgers merely blamed the odds for the inevitable loss.
Good riddance to Rodgers. And good riddance to his apologists. Your man is a disappointment.
Aaron Rodgers was an amazing quarterback. His combination of athleticism, arm strength, accuracy, and football I.Q. … he might have beent he best to ever step on the field.
Provided of course the game was within one score.
Once the other team had a 9 point lead, dude shriveled up like an eskimo’s nutsack after getting pantsed. All of the sudden he would refuse to extend plays for fear of taking a sack. All of the sudden he would refuse to make tight window throws for fear of throwing a pick. All of the sudden he would do everything in his power to minimize the blame that would fall at the feet of Aaron Rodgers.
Dude is so thin skinned it made him soft on the field.
I have two things to say about this. For one, yes people don’t talk enough about when Rodgers falls short. He played terribly against the 2015 Broncos (has never thrown a TD in Mile high stadium), while Brady was a missed kick from possibly beating them and going to the Super Bowl. Rodgers got whooped by the 2011 giants while Brady (again) almost beat them. People overlook the times where Rodgers falls short.
But I don’t buy this idea that Rodgers “can’t win”. The run-the-table season is evidence that he can carry a team that has no business being in the NFC championship or even the playoffs. Intangibles like “mentality” and “clutchness” are overblown. Just about everyone at that level of football “wants to win”.
Again, we’re supposed to be roasting Rodgers not defending him, so I’ll emphasize he’s more responsible for his playoff losses than people like to admit, and he benefited from a weak NFC North. But I think his shortcomings are due to not being able to beat great defenses as opposed to lacking some intangible winning mentality.
Good riddance, you despicable dickflute. Your team (not you) won a SB and you spent the next 15 years failing to a high level. You regularly flopped around on the turf like a South American soccer player trying to gain advantage by faking fouls, and that alone should be enough cause to stick a weasel up your arse so it can eat its way out. The things you threw the most were footballs, hissy fits, team mates and coaches under the bus, and toys out of your play pen, and not necessarily in that order. You ungracious, vacuous, self-centred, lying sack of diarrhoea-causing vulture vomit. You parlayed talent into twattery, skill into slime, and a gift into gunge. I hope you lose the ability to speak permanently.
^^This
I wish we had likes on this so I could give you kudos. No one hates Rodgers more than Vikings fans.
May we all respect this kindred spirit for the truest words ever spoken (You too, Dave, especially you)
Man, how did Rodgers and Danica Patrick not work out?
You should see the play before the “Miracle in Motown” where he flops his way into a bogus facemask call.
As a Seahawks fan, I almost felt bad at all the absolute bullshit we pulled on the Packers during the LOB days, but then I remember Rodgers was their QB and lmfao Aaron can Fail Mary these nuts.
The very first Bills game I ever attended live was Bills/Packers 2014 at The Ralph. I was in high school at the time and won tickets in a raffle.
That game is sort of known here as the “Bacarri Rambo Game” because Rambo, this random-ass backup defensive back, picked off Rogers twice. We won on a Marcus Thigpen punt return touchdown and a game-sealing strip sack of Rogers in the end zone.
Even then, I thought Rogers was a prick. Even Brady had sort of a cool aura to him that Rogers never had. With Brady, you were playing a God. Rogers was just an asshole who was good at football. He missed Jordy Nelson on what would have been a game-tying touchdown and I distinctly remember him yelling at Nelson even though the pass was over his head.
Good riddance, you bum. See you in Canton.
Right? What a disappointing pair of disappointments….although to be fair, I feel Danica may have “learned from the master” there.
Also behind Eli on ring count.
One of the greatest things about being a fan of San Francisco is that not only did we shithouse the little bastard four times in the playoffs, we were his dream destination and chose Alex Smith instead. Rodgers is never going to get over that.
It’s kind of remarkable that around this point in time 10 years ago, there was a genuine, serious push to crown him as the greatest QB to ever play and the biggest story surrounding him off the field was that he might have been gay. Really shows how much things can change over time. The playoff losses kept piling up, the excuses stopped coming in from Packers fans, and a younger, far better version of the quarterback he was propped up to be came along and actually WON games in January/February, rendering all defenses of him pointless. Once he revealed himself to be a tinfoil hat wearing douchebag, the bottom completely fell out, and now you rarely hear anyone referring to him as the “most gifted” or “most talented” QB to ever play, let alone the GOAT outright. You can’t even mention him in the same breath as Patrick Mahomes without getting laughed at.
If this really is the end, good riddance, Aaron. I really do appreciate you for supplying me with some of the most generational hate-watches of all time.
To think 37-20 in 2012 playoffs may have been an early sign in hindsight. In fact the refs pretty much helped gifted a touchdown late in the same to save some dignity for the Packers.
Can we get the final panel of the playoff Rodgers gag? I need to complete the set!
can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard at a non-joke
I hated him because he was on the Packers and good. Then I just started hating him because of the insufferable doucheweasel he is. The fact that he gave anti-vaxxers a “rugged, masculine” role model to look up to is one of the many reasons that pompous assclown should rot in hell for all eternity. He acts like being a smarmy pseudo-contrarian is his actual fucking job he gets paid for. He thinks he’s most intelligent person in the room even though his drug and CTE riddled brain couldn’t complete a second grade times table. He is an example of the worst of humanity and gives the other dregs of society vindication that anyone can be a victim, no matter how successful. Rot in flames forever, you pathetic loser who can’t find his way out of a fucking closet.
I’m going to add that I’ve never seen someone with both Dunning-Kruger and imposter syndrome at the same time. He thinks he’s smart on all the good things but has a massive issue with being blamed for his mistakes that makes him constantly needing adulation and reassurance. At least Brady smugly KNEW he was good and didn’t need everyone to tell him constantly.
And now him and the anti-vaxx crowd like are saying they were right on the vaccines, but he thing is, he wasn’t, nor is any other anti-vaxxer. He says “well, I’m not dead, so it clearly wasn’t needed” in spite of data showing that proportionately, the unvaccinated died far more than the vaccinated from the virus. https://www.kff.org/covid-19/why-do-vaccinated-people-represent-most-covid-19-deaths-right-now/
>This motherfucker got Mike Tomlin to give up after one year.
Now there’s a burn.
BTW, I have secured a photograph of Rodgers’s wife.

Whoops!

As a 49ers fan he reminded me of steve young, and I liked him at first. For a while he was dating Olivia Munn (every 80s nerd’s nerd crush). But then he descended into madness, and liking him became harder and harder to reconcile. Good riddence to bad rubbish. I hope his last play in the NFL is a crushing pick 6 in a first round bounce to a wildcard team
I almost thought you refered to steve young dating olivia munn and had to do a double check for a second, but then it made sense.
arrogantly dishonest old man gets a little bit of what he deserves, classic literature.
I think the anti vaxxer stuff was the first time I had truly been disgusted by Rodgers. Not even just that he was unvaccinated, but rather that he acted like he was oppressed because people called him an idiot for it. Like at least Kirk Cousins, Carson Wentz, and Sam Darnold, while unvaccinated and stupid for not taking it, sort of acknowledged that what they did was dumb and made fun of themselves for it. They knew they were making a dumb health decision based on vibes and religion, and didn’t do what Rodgers did, which was act like he was MLK for not being vaccinated. That McAfee interview showed me Rodgers was about as much of an ass as his detractors said, and he then revealed himself to be an RFK Jr guy AND a dumb libertarian dude too. And then he was completely irredeemable when he implied Jimmy Kimmel was in the Epstein files and it turns out he lied. And then he just blamed everyone for his problems everywhere too, despite him being one of them and I realized the dude was an egomaniac who thought he knew more than everyone else. It feels like justice that he never won a playoff game again.
Any of the ‘clueless nutcase’ guys you listed mysteriously drop dead of a heart attack in their 20’s?
I don’t know were all of these clowns getting that everyone that didn’t get the vaccine regrets it, Myself, and plenty of people I know never got it, none of them regret it. While people I know that got it, still get sick, have Bells pulsey, I also know a few people that died after they took it.
And there are millions upon millions of people who got it with no ill effects whatsoever, just like me. I actually also know people who didn’t get it and either died or have long-covid, and have regrets about it. Ancedotal evidence ain’t shit.
You non-vaxers always do this stupid thing where you don’t percieve how vaccines work (they don’t prevent the illness, so obviously you can still catch it and still suffer, it’s just extra defense to ensure you handle it better and it improves herd immunity) and general statistical anomalies like folks who do develop long term problems are just unfortunate, not the norm. Of course a few people who got the vax are going to suffer ill effects, that’s statistics. Millions, maybe billions, of people took the vax, and it did no harm to them. But so many anti-vaxxers keep attributing any medical problem suffered after taking it to the vax somehow and it’s stupid and rarely if ever based on actual medical evidence.
I’m glad you haven’t suffered any issues, I don’t want anyone to die. I have also not suffered any issues at all (haven’t even tested positive yet) and I’ve gotten the booster every year.
Plenty of unvaccinated people in their 20s died of Covid, you dickflute. You’re probably one of those ferret fellaters who thinks face masks are useless and calls them “face diapers”. They’re only face diapers if the wearer is spewing anti-vax shit out of their mouths, and every one of those people would insist on face masks in an operating theatre in they were on the table.
Shhh!
a chance to enjoy a fresh-pressed Aaron Rodgers’ sadface is the #1 reason i watch his games. This Texans game had so many chefkiss moments i had to use chapstik
I’m gonna go against the grain here:
I don’t like Aaron Rodgers. He is an anti vaxxer and conspiracy theory nut job. His antics in 2020 were cringeworthy and his crying about media annoys me quite often.
But hating this guy so much when there are way worse guys in the NFL rn seems like overkill. The NFL has rapists, domestic abusers and other criminals playing right now. There were some really terrible NFL players in all of history. Yes, you can dislike multiple people at the same time but seeing the hate for Rodgers compared to the hate of Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston or whoever seems weird.
