Taking a Week off for Illness

So I came down with a nice solid and persistent headcold this weekend and I had no chance of completing a comic for today through the haze of snot that is now pouring out of my face. Since there is nothing happening at all right now (Nothing that requires immediate responses, anyway) and I have no idea when I will get better, I have decided to take the week off. It’s June, no one is paying attention anyway and we’ll have another week to debate how Kevin Durant ruined parity in the NBA forever.
If you’ve got a guest comic idea, I’d be happy to post it this week, so send it in!
There will still be a podcast and you can always keep an eye on my social media stuff for updates.

He’s still under contract next year for $19.5M. Who are they gonna trade for him? I wouldn’t trade LeBron, Kyrie, Love, or Thompson, and JR’s contract isn’t worth enough.

I was curious about what your opinions are on Kevin Durant. I think he gets far too much hate for an extremely understandable move.
I’ll get into it later, but I have no ill will against Durant himself. He did what was entirely within his rights to do. I have more of a problem with the NBA’s culture and lack of parity causing this sort of thing to happen.
Man, I feel you. I came down with a case of the awful too. When your back is sore from how much you’re hacking, you know you’re sick. Mad empathy for you Dave, hope you feel better soon.
GET WELL. I can tell you from personal experience that a properly-used neti pot will spare you much misery; lessening both the duration and intensity of you symptoms.
