Mel Kiper cut his hair and it’s a load of bullshit
Some things are institutions, man. 35 years we’ve been looking at that glorious mane. It was so magnificent that it never actually looked real. Now it’s not actually too big a change, but…it’s not a change that should have happened.
I hope he never gets a draft pick right again until he grows it back.
In other news, Thursday night football still sucks.
Dude missed out on a golden opportunity for charity. “If you donate enough I will get a haircut” God damn it Kiper.
But then nobody would’ve donated, because no one wanted him to cut it!
Lol, I didn’t know about that one, also
REX GROSSMAN IS NOT IN MADDEN BUT CRISTIAN HACKENBERG IS .
But yeah, I was trying to play as Rex and do exactly what he does, unfortunately…… Well yeah.
I haven’t played a madden since ’13 (or owned one since ’11) but is create-a-player still a thing?
I know It’s not quite the same thing, but it’s better than nothing
In the earlier maddens, like in Madden 11, you could create your own teams, so I’m pretty sure you could create your own players. The latest madden I have is Madden 15. You can do a create your player, there was Ultimate Team, and Gaunlet. Plus, the 49ers were beast in that game, and any time you did a fantasy draft, Russel Wilson would be taken first every time.
Create a team hasn’t been the same since at least 2012. Less cities to choose to relocate, you have to pick from premade team names and logos. I hope that for the new one changes that.
Is…is it supposed to say 1865? Am I that person for commenting on it?
my first thought was that it had something to do with the end of the american civil war
I actually thought he was referring to sideburns at first but yeah…not sure what the reference was.
oh shit that might be it: ambrose burnside, general of the union army. except the guy kinda sucked as his job
Yeah, too bad he was a crappy general but at least he does get remembered for something.
Looked up on the guy and learned that he was aware that he was crappy at his job too. Even turned down the command twice but only took it because they would have gave it to Hooker who was even worse.
Kiper promised to retire if Jimmie Clausen wasn’t an NFL star QB. From 2010:
Kiper was so confident in his analysis of Clausen that he had this infamous exchange with ESPN foil Todd McShay:
Kiper: “If Jimmy Clausen is not a successful quarterback in the NFL, I’m done. That’s it. I’m out.”
McShay: “What is your time frame, Mel? When do we make that assessment?”
Kiper: “I want eight years.”
Random Announce Guy – “So far this season, we’ve seen some pretty lackluster games with performances almost to horrid too speak of. Surely it can’t get any worse.
Eli – “Hold my Bomb Pop”….
