Maybe I should make all my Monday comics into “bets” like this and the Chargers/Titans one. Makes it easier to know what to start working on for Sunday since apparently I get them wrong 100% of the time.
The Jets won the battle for New Jersey, as pathetic as it is for two dying fish flopping around on a polluted beach to be called a “win”. At least it was a quality game. Giants are bigger trash than even I expected, but I think I’ll make a longer post on that soon.

Good draft position is overrated. Bad organisations stay bad despite having good draft position year after year.
But… look at the Browns! They used all their hight draft picks to turn into the next Patriots! Gonna win the Super Bowl this year. X’D

Well speaking of the Giants, Saquon did jack and shit for my fantasy team.

Let’s be real here, if the Giants or almost any other team in the league had drafted Jackson they would have tried to fit his square peg in a round hole and he would have been RG3’d out of the league.
I feel bad for all the running QBs who are going to get more of a chance in the NFL because of Lamar Jackson, but are going to end up with teams who don’t understand what exactly the Ravens did to create a system for Lamar Jackson to succeed and thus end up tanking their careers because of it.
On a related note, other than his draft card back in 2018, I don’t think Dave has done a single comic on Lamar Jackson (or at least he never tagged Lamar in any comics he did of him).
At this point Lamar should have a wing of a hospital named after him for all the ankles he’s broken this year.
You’re not wrong, but who knows for sure. He might have been good enough to overcome it.

Yes and I had waaaaaay more free-time that season. A lot of people seem to miss those but I just don’t have the time to do them now.
I’d love for Monday bets to happen….just one game, not all of them like before. Understand completely about way less free time.

Great comic title Dave. Until yesterday I was only on the fire Bettcher train. I always hated getting rid of a head coach without giving him 3 seasons to try and turn things around. Shurmur has convinced me to change that opinion. Yesterday was just the latest example of terrible time management coupled with horrible, horrible play calling.
Why have Saquon in the game if he’s only going to run into DTs for 1 yard every time the ball is given to him.
Pat Shurmur is a loser, idk why he was ever hired as head coach of this team. Daniel Jones is being wasted already by a Shit o-line and the worst defense in football.
Jones should’ve been holding Eli’s rocket pop instead of a football lol

COMIC IDEA: The Bungles throw Andy Dalton a birthday party, but give him a terrible gift. And he wants to leave the party (traded), but is forced to stay. But is now no longer the center of attention at his own party. Play with it. Your brilliant mind can carve this rough idea into something beautiful.
