The Draw Play is a labor of love by a nerdy football fan who needs something to do during the offseason. There are no recurring characters, because the entire NFL and anyone associated with it is considered fodder. There is no set template for the comic, because consistency is for sane people. It’s just a comic that mocks football, because it loves football.

I’m not this cool in real life
Dave Rappoccio is a rabid football fan from the Baltimore suburbs who was raised a Giants fan. He loves everything about football except the Cowboys. Come to think of it, he hates the Eagles and Redskins too. The best moment of his life was superbowl 42, and the second best was probably that one time Jerry Jones picked his nose on live television.
He went to College at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and bribed his teachers into giving him a BFA in Animation, which he promptly proceeded to squander and make his parents resent their waste of money. Then he moved to Oregon because why not.
